I think the best advice I've been given is to stick around awhile and ask plenty of questions!!!!

ive learned plenty of great tips on here but the best one is a tip from a guy from upstate n.y. he told me to try a lure and now its my fav. improved my jigging confidence 10 fold!

From Bob D or Esox or whatever his current name is. The advice was to ditch wire for pike and go with heavy fluorocarbon. I have never looked back since. I am now a firm believer in that because now I'm catching decent amounts of pike.

The best advice i've gotten so far, is... to stick around.. and listen.

I'm gonna make it a point though, to see what is goin on in the (Fishermanjake) Ling forum

....I'll also be lookin for some advice from the Crappie community too.

I've been shown many great lakes to fish that I wouldn't have known about otherwise.
The WNY fishing posse is very serious about our get-togethers... 8)

I think one of the coolest aspects of this site (and MFF) is that if you're going to be in a different region you can ask advice from members that live and/or fish there.

to go fishing and then start drinking. not drinking and then fishing, it makes it difficult to drill holes.

I did a search for grumps de-boning method but came up empty. Anyone have the link?
