float bridge bomoseen

i am looking to go fish for some pike north of the float bridge tomorrow.  I know the benson derby is this weekend wich im not participating in.  didnt know how the bite had been over there i usually fish a spot south of the access but mostly just catch bass there.  if anyone has any good tips or info for me i would greatly appreciate it, im bringing a friend whos never fished bomo and would like to show him a good time.  Thanks to all and good  luck in the derby!!!!

Stay in the middle, in line with the bridge. This is the deepest spot and really isn't that deep, maybe 10' or so. Fish under the ice 1-4 feet and you should find some. Good luck.

ya we considered the busy factor and ended up going to dunmore.  real slow day for us but a friend of ours got a 30" 11 lb salmon.  just a hog!!! thanks for the advice though much appreciated prolly get down there next weekend

we were setting up next to him saturday morning when he got that salmon beautiful fish. he got a nice laker just while later, gave us good insentive just getting there and see him catching nice fish like that. We did alright landed 11 lakers 3 pike 1 salmon 2.75 lbs a bunch of perch and smelt. saw a good laker just under the ice while we were smelt fishing at night.
