Monday at the Mile

Little breezy today. Action was steady most of the day. Managed six trout, none over 18" and two pike, the largest 31"-8.8 lb. Released all except the pike only because she inhaled the rig.
I didn't waste any time getting to the flag either Tight lines.

Any productive day on the Mile is a great day. You caught some nice fish. I thought about going but couldn't shake a cold that got a little worse by the end of the day. That breeze is a lot easier to put up with when catching fish like that.

Very nice fish --- looks like a great day out there!  Others have said the mile's slowed down a bunch, but you seem to have found them ok!

I was one of 6 huts in an area and I had my eyes on the 5 other groups yesterday - none of them appeared to lift a fish topside.  It was dead as the front pushed through.  Post pics if you have any success
