dark til dark 95% of the time... yup tired!!!!!
If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in northern New York

8 hrs of fishing tipdowns while trying to jig, with no snow on the ice will wear ya out in 8 hrs for sure, although I usually dont feel it till I get home. If I am just setting tip ups and/or just jiggin I could go for 3 days/nights-no sleep ;D just kidding but i have noticed I am way more tired after a day of getting up out of the chair every 3 min for a tipdown vs jiggin. But its so worth it...

For me it depends on how much walking I'm doing and if I put out tip ups. Dragging a 60-70 lb sled on foot can be brutal some days. Then if you drill 20-30 holes in a day it can be quite a work out. I remember one day on whitney point I was almost too tired to drill a hole by the end of the day

x2! It never hits me how tired I am until the heat starts blowing in the truck. As long as I'm fishing I too seem to go forever. Get home and the old lady asks me to do something.  ??? Forget about it. I'm out like a light.

Always moving sometime walking a mile or more then back pulling sled through deep snow setting/picking up tip ups, DRIVING HOME is the worst part...

First time I ever went was glare ice and I didn't have cleats. Taking baby steps all day chasing flags trying not to knock myself out. I could barely walk the next day...good times!

I love it when I get questioned by some of my friends the next day. "Why are you walking like a gimp dude?!"
"I fished HARD yesterday!"  @)
You wouldn't understand. You can't get this feeling playing Call of Duty Bro.

I would say that i feel tired after a day of fishing, but 8 hours at the office wears me out 10x worse than 10 hours on the ice.
Course then again, i usually have to be dragged off the ice by my buddies cause I just keep fishing.
