Meal and Waxworms

has anyone had success for brookies using mealworms or waxworms?? I bought some to try tomorrow morning before the storm and was wondering was kind of setups to use

Of coarse they work on brookies. Every fish loves a soft defenseless piece of meat  @)

Jigging or traps? they are a very small
soft defenseless piece of meat  @)
if you are not adding some flash and wiggle to them to bring the fish over. They do work well on a jig though.
