Laurel lake ice
« on: Jan 25, 2013, 10:51 AM »
There is 2.5 inches of good ice on Laurel lake Cumberland Co at 10:00 am Friday. By Sunday there could be 4 inches. The park service requires 4 and will not let you on it if there is less. Sorry for the post in this sections but I could not get on the report section. I am a fisherman not a computer guru.

That is good to here. I didn't get to go out last year so I'm hoping to get out at least once this year.
I heard Letterkenny had 2.5 to 3 yesterday so I'm hoping to get there on Sunday.

I stopped and checked Laurel lake Cumberland co. today. There is only about one inch of ice and even some open water were the stream has flow through the lake. It looks like we will not see safe ice again this year if the weather man is right.
