The gal at the Fishin' Hole told my buddy (yesterday) the ice was melting fast, and that the main body and the narrows was already thawed.  She said that they were fishing out of boats and doing really well yesterday.  I think she is full of it, because it has not been that warm, and it has been getting in the 20s at night.  Anyone have any updates?

66birdman was there yesterday, it is fine on the bruneau arm, the main lake didn't have that much ice anyway, its gonna take a week of this kind of weather too do anything too what was 12" of ice... it might be too 10" now, the edges are the first too go... just be careful, I am going down tomorrow...

Fished it again today.  Still a solid 10 inches but soft around the edges.  Side note if anybody found an Ipod at the top of the boat ramp that would be mine.  I am really hoping I dropped it and somebody didnt steal it from my truck.

accuweather.com says lows in Nampa this weekend gonna be in the teens...bad for me I'll be working 12hr nights, but good for all you who want to hit the local ice this weekend. Should firm up the edges....
