51 prop on Business 51 is where I usually go. But it depends where you are coming from and where you are headed. You can also go to Gander Mountain. Also last year there was a new guy over by the schofield dam but I am not sure if he is still there.

It's not exactly close but if you ever head up to Tomahawk which is a bit north of Wausau, there's a few nice bait shops in town right on the water next to Lake Mohawksin but the Gander Mountain in Wausau is nice.

It might be, I can't remember but one is called Aquatic arts and the other is called Chucks bait shop.  They're across the street from each other North 4th street.

Backwater on the North Side of Merrill is where I stop when I am heading North from Marathon.

Was just out by the Schofield Dam this past Saturday with my son and we stopped in at Riverside Bait. Looks like a nice little place they have there. Funny thing is I have been fishing that area the past 5 years and from what I hear is he was open last year and I never noticed. I always went to 51 Prop before heading over there. Nice and convenient to have that one right on the water there now.
