This is just a general thank you to the Ice Shanty community. I've fished most of my life, but ice fishing was new to us a few years ago. We basically went out, cut a hole, dropped a line and said a prayer
We would stumble on a fish or two but we never had any consistency until the past two years.
Little tips we've picked up like depth of the bait, leader style, weather patterns, bait type and size, etc have helped us all land personal best pike this year.
I just find it really refreshing that so many good people are willing to freely share their love and knowledge of the outdoors.
Thank you!
