I've  traveled all around NE. fishing and I have the hardest time convincing my wife why, when I can catch more fish in my back yard than I've ever cault by going all over the place why do I bother. I like going out to meet new friends and having some fun. but between yesterday and today I chased flags all day long. Is my wife right? Am i wrong?  HELP! ME

If you are talking Bellingham/Blackstone line you must be talking Lake H. I fish it a lot as my sister lives on the lake. Has been productive in the past, this season it seems like all the fish are gone. Tough summer I thought too but maybe you are having better luck. No trophies there but generally lots of flags. And if it is your backyard, even better.

I was just down there myself returning a fire pit borrowed from my brother in law. Spent the day on a small pond in Upton catching nothing but dink pickeral when I should have been on that lake:-) Are you on the Bellingham side of the lake? Maybe I'll run into you one of these days. Ice seems to finally be safe there. Something about that lake makes it slow freezing over.
