Alright I have a few things to say. First, be sharp with big box stores. I have been looking at this Otter in Gander for months and for a couple weeks they had a sale on shanties for like $75 off any shanty over $400. Pretty sure that was just for my local gander. Well we finally got enough cold for me to justify buying a shanty that would be most enjoyed pulled by a machine so obviously safe ice was needed. I get in the store and the first thing I notice is no sale sign.....I go up to an employee working in the FISHING section and asked what the deal was and he pulls out a flyer and says no sale. So I walk around pondering what should do and I decided I should talk to a manager. I asked the guy for a manager and he calls for one and proceeds to tell me that he doesn't think anything is going to change. Basically he was offended by having a 15 year old ask for a manager because he just didn't seem educated to me......whatever. Manager come over and I explain the situation and he says right away he can take the $75 off because the deal ended less then 2 weeks ago!!! In the end I ended up getting the floor model because they're out of stock which I didn't mind because setting up my last flip over was a pain and got a super steal on it. I got it for $525 when anywhere else it would have been $700. Their price there before discount was $599. No I'm not trying to brag but what I'm saying is don't go into big stores like gander or dicks sporting goods expecting knowledge just look for gear at good prices. Also second.....anyone with an otter what should the seal look like from the fabric to the tub because I want to make sure this is set up right. Also how do you seal those little plastic tabs to the tub because a couple are popped off. Thanks guys.
