Ice Fish around Albany
« on: Jan 21, 2013, 09:05 AM »
I grew up in the Albany area and started ice fishing last year.  I currently live in CT and travel to NY occasionally on weekends.  Any suggestions for places with quick and easy access around Albany.  Specifically looking for some place that I can catch pike, however I will catch anything.  Just looking for my first pike through the ice.

Saratoga Lake would be my first choice.  Outside of Mannings Cove or around Snake Hill or ever North of the State Launch.

Check out places close to you in CT like Quaddick.... The state stocks Pike.
