Was wondering if anyone has fished Lon Hagler Loveland area this year? Ice conditions?
    Thanks!

Plenty of ice on the lake around 12" on 1/17.  Trout are providing most of the action on jigs tipped with a variety of worms or on minnows.  An occasional LM bass or perch showing up, mostly on minnows.  Action was slow on 1/17 as described by a few people I talked with in the afternoon.  Maybe a fish every two hours seemed to be the consensus.

Thanks for the update and info! Would you happen to know anything on Boedecker?

Boedecker doesn't get a lot of ice fishing traffic so less information.  Ice is 10-12" thick with a little snow on top as well.  Lady fishing it on 1/17 (I think) caught a 21.5" walleye (and got a picture taken with it so it is valid).  She was using minnows and said she got some other bites but couldn't connect with them - likely perch or crappie.?

Thanks again for the info. I marked 3 decent sized fish at boedecker straight out from boat ramp about 100 yards out but couldn't get em to leave the bottom fishing in 10-12fow

I believe that was the same area she was fishing - I saw her out there that day so you probably saw some tracks.  Nice catfish and one ambitious perch on that sized lure.
