Trying to get my first brown trout!

I wanna get my first monster brown trout this year. Any suggestions on what jigs are working the best?

I don't believe I have ever caught a brown trout jigging. And I have been jigging in lakes with brown trout for 35 years.

You have to match the bait to the waters you are fishing. Also, fluorocarbon leader is a must.

He means, make sure your jig looks like the bait that live in that body of water.  If they are eatin smelts, you want a slivery jig like a smelt.  etc...

I've done well using swedish pimples, in various sizes and color.  And yes i believe fluorocarbon is the only way to.

I have gotten browns jigging in 30'-35' of water on a 1/3 oz. gold swedish pimple.

Me too, but I got them jigging the whole water column. Most hookups came 12'-14' in 30' of water.
