hey so i meant to ask you, how do you set the nor easter up with a big bait thats still alive? do you use a clothespin or some sort of clip? when i set mine up even with a 4-5 inch shiner, if its lively it will set the trap off and ill have to cut the tail fin. any suggestions?

I have a small alligator clip that has a rubber piece around each jaw and the clip is attached to the front white crossbar. So then the fishing line goes from the rod tip to the trigger of the noreaster then to the alligator clip and then over the curved bar to the water. You can tie a rubber band around that bar instead of the clip. Just tuck the line under it. That's what I used first. Staples #64 is what it says on the package.
