I haven't heard anybody talk about productivity of the lake for a while.  Are the fish still productive there lately?
Just wondering

Havent heard much from the W this year either, but I always see huts on the ice when I take the dogs out. Normally you'll hear word through the grapevine when the crappie bite is on, but nothing so far this season.

Been there twice, lots of 4 and 5inch gills, no crappie yet.  This was before the warm spell last weekend.

Will be out there at about 8am. My girlfriend and I will be starting are day by the boat ramp, feel free to come say hello and possible join us. We have a shack and vexilar. Should make for a good morning fishing tomorrow. Wind will be from the west at about 10 mph and the temp should be about 30 by 11 am. Hope to see some others out there. I will follow up tomorrow night with a nice report of the ice conditions and fijing. Hopefully have some nice pictures to go with it as well. Happy fishing!

Caught about 30 small bluegills today from 9am til 1pm. Was the first one on the ice this morning. Anyone having any luck finding fish bigger than 5 inches? Today was a blast with almost nonstop action, I'm hoping to catch something bigger than 10 inches any advice is more than welcome!

My cousin and I have been doin good on the crappie out towards the dam with both minnows and waxies. Tonight was a different story ALOT of small gills, crappie were hit and miss only got 5, and catfish were only 9-10" long kinda disappointing after geting into some 8-10 pounders last week.

Roughly what part of the lake if you don't mind sharing :) I just don't want to walk onto some thin ice with a heavy sled. Thanks

A member posted some photos on nefga that didn't look good.  Open water around the edges at the ramp, buy the dam, and said one of the east coves was completely open.  A friend of mine checked another local lake yesterday and said he had to wade to get to the ice.  Once he was on the ice he said it was sagging and bubbling and he decided to head home.  Not looking good around omaha right now.
