Grew up fishing that pond (not on ice though). Even though they stock it, it's a tough pond to fish- if you find one fish, you found them all. If you don't mind catching bass/pickeral, look at Great Pond in Cape. Bring tons of bait, and fish by the rock at the mouth of the river. You should have a flag every 15 minutes. If you're after trout, best look at Otter Ponds.

Just got back from a walk there this afternoon.  Two teenagers on the lower fishing on 4.5" of ice.   Probably 8 or so people on the upper, adults and kids, looked like families.

ice is fine but the trout fishing has slowed down  but i still catch a few here and there.
