home made sleds for shanty's
« on: Jan 03, 2013, 02:03 PM »
I don't suppose I could talk a few of you into posting pictures of home made sleds that you use for transporting your shanty's through the snow, could I?

I just got a frabill predator and it's a beast in the snow.  I saw a few pictures of different sleds that a few folks have made, but I can only find one or two.  As many angles as possible would be very much appreciated.

My thoughts are to build a sled out of old ski's that I can load it on, drag it out and then detatch it so it doesn't sit up too high.

Thanks,

TT.

Coach- That is a great looking set up you travel with. What do you use to get all that stuff to the lake? I'm thinking maybe an 18 wheeler or 2-3 trips with the pick up truck? I really like the sled with the toboggan skies. Nice job

I had a Dodge Quad cab and my snowmobile trailer, but now I have a Ford Super duty. Guess I can haul more stuff.
