I hit Sloan's Lake today.  Perch that I caught do not meet the "decent" requirement.  The biggest was about 6 inches.  I would like to try Granite for perch.  In past years I've only got one perch out of crystal, but I haven't tried Granite.

I hit Granite and Crystal this weekend. Only caught stockers and unfortunately no perch.
Doesn't look like either lake is being hit by many fishermen so I don't know if that means anything or if it's just early yet?

Fished Crystal two weeks ago and kept 6 perch that ranged from 9-12". Sent back another dozen or so that ranged from 4-8". Caught them in 40+fow. Used tungsten teardrops tipped with a waxie.
