Hows the ice fishing in, general, in grand isle, near the state park? Ive fished there in the summer a few times but never been out there in the winter.
"Guys, Come look! This perch is as big as my house!"

Depending on where you go or which bay or how far out you can catch almost anything.  Its a huge area.  I'm planning on checking Keeler's Bay for safe ice tomorrow(Good for perch and pike).

I would be interested in your report (clear ice thickness/slush ice thickness/snow depth)

I read a post that Carmi is just getting there.  I'm not optimistic.

I checked Keelers yesterday. There was only about 1.5-2" of ice.

How much snow is on top?  I know we've got damn near 2' at the house, hoping the lake is blown off some.

I'm hoping this cold snap will make lots of new ice.  Lets hope no snow in the near future.
