Ice Season Looking Good

Getting excited with the forcast. After last years disappointing ice (what ice??) it will be great to get in some hard water fishing. Planning to be out this weekend. Maspenock or Whitehall. Walking on water!

Mother Nature seems to be on our side this week, next weekend should be good.  Not liking all this wind.

I live in Hoptown. Both lakes should be good at least in the coves by next weekend, IMHO. Gonna get a few single digit nights this week. What a change from last year!

I was worried about the wind up there Lee.   We should be on some small pond ice on the south shore over the weekend.  Stood on a couple inches yesterday.  Big ponds open to the wind aren"t even locked up down here.

It is 12 degrees out here in the Berks as we speak. I was on 6" of ice today with some crap on top.
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!
