walker lake crappies 3-13
« on: Mar 13, 2005, 06:34 PM »
Fished Walker Lake today and had eleven keepers to 12 1/2 inches.

Got home and cleaned the fish and caught a quick nap before I hit the river for some late season Walleye.

Even though they claim walleye do not reproduce in this river, this female was released to fight another day.

Bizzare! First going icefishing and hitting a bunch of nice crappies then fishin open water! What did you catch that eyewall on?

Do the leaves of trees stay greener, in the autumn, does the colour of the sun, turn crimson white? Does a shadow come between us, in the winter?

Mike, I cought the eye on a 1/8 ounce jigin motor oil color. The bizzar part is we are still ice fishing here in the middle of march and unless we get hit with a big blast of global warming this week, next weekend will still be ok.

You da the man.  Nice catch.  I never did get out this weekend and I am kicking myself in the **s.  The kids had too much going on this weekend.  Maybe if your local lake there is still safe this weekend we can hook up.
Bring on the ice!!!!!!!  <br />

Nice catch Jim!  I plan on heading back up there next Saturday with CF263A and Ice-Sniper. Sorry I couldn't make it on Sunday.
