Do boot dryers work on heavy PAC boots?
« on: Dec 28, 2012, 06:52 PM »
I usually pull the liners from my boots and hang them above my wood furnace, but the Baffin Impacts I just bought pull apart very hard. So I am thinking of getting a boot dryer. My concern is that they won't get as dry as they wood if I pull them apart, which may lead to early deterioration. I am looking for good boot dryer recommendations that will take care of my Impacts.

I use " peet" boot dryer. put them in , plug it in & boots are dry in the morning. Got the small portable ones & use them in the spring in my waders too, ( camping )

Yeah... they will dry just about any boot overnight. Just make sure to open them up as much as you can

I also own a Peet boot dryer. I work construction and get wet boots often and consider this one of my better investments. My daughter plays soccer and anyone who has kids that play soccer will know what I am talking about when I say the odor they produce is not human. Now after games and practice we put her cleats on and it reduces the smell and dries the moister that cause the odor. I would strongly recommend getting one. My only regret was waiting so long to to finally get one.
