The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

NOAA puts up and keeps up small craft warnings in a dead calm. Weatherunderground, weatherchannel is good for a 3 day forecast. Any 5, 10, 15 day forecast can change or not.

I also find Weather Underground the most accurate. http://classic.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=54876%20-%20Stone%20Lake,%20WI&wuSelect=WEATHER
but like was said it is only good maybe 3 days out. I don't care who it is after about 3 days out they are just guessing.

Weather Underground for a "wide view" of what's going on, NOAA beacon checks for the big lake, and then follow up with smaller local weather stations that offer realtime and cam's from the shore.

I only trust a 48hr forecast anyway, things change too fast now it seems - the weather's been unstable for the last few years.
