headed to brownington pond monday morning was on it yesterday and there was a few inches but this cold snap should give it a solid 5 inches .... that rain didnt help anything the other day

I always here conflicting stories about Brownington Pond. some say small perch population, others say decent perch population. Do you fish it often? Whats your opinion?

alot of small perch u really have to hunt for the bigger ones but sometimes ull get a good school come thru lots of smalls tho i went out there today 100yds with out a noise so im bettin on safe ice ill kno more when i drill a hole in the am

well boys theres safe ice on brownington pond an avrage thickness of 5 inches solid black ice just a few slush spots  but they are visible for now caught a bunch of perch and a fat pickrill ill try and post pics soon

A ton of perch there! You may go out and catch all little one and the next two holes you drill you will get 25+   8-10 inchers! Really hit or miss but it definitely has a lot less big ones than it did 10 years ago! ???
