I called tackle toms today for an ice report on cascade. he said the dam side had open water do to high winds. he said sugar loaf and poison creek had ice but from the way he sounded it was not something i would dare venture children out on.

sure. Horsethief is frozen solid. I fished north end. plenty of ice 4-6". I still wouldnt set up a big old shelter and pile the people in. it is still fish apart type of ice

Once in awhile you catch a good one there, but that lake has so many of the F&G planters plenty of fish in there great lake for kids,

I caught a couple size 7" to 16". I only kept three that were hooked deep. I actually caught a tagged fish. I was like how did a pine needle get stuck in this thing!
