Bait Cast Reel

I like bait cast reels for lake trout.   What are some good makes / models in the $100.00 range?

I run 80's vintage ABU 5500's and 6000's.
5501 and 6001 versions are left hand retrieve if you are a lefty. 
Look on ebay there are quite a few up for sale.
You want the old style with the chrome silver thumb bar on the side plate.
These old ones are made in Sweden and last forever.

Here's a couple of good ones to give you an idea what to look for.
They usually end up going for $100-$130.

Thanks  ... I followed your help from the summer and bought a 5500 and a 5501.  They are working very well for me.
I am a righty yet I reel with the left hand and control the rod with the right.

I was just wondering what others were using and their interest.  I need to learn one new thing about the lakers every day.

+3 on the Abu's.  I too am another right hander that prefers to keep my stick in my right hand while reeling with the left.  Switching hands just seems like it's prone for slack and in deep water that could easily mean a lost fish.

I have been using the 5500 for years winter and summer jigging and they have been just great. Never a problem. Git um!
