Orange Suffix Ice Magic for Panfish?
« on: Nov 27, 2012, 08:42 PM »
I was just wondering if anybody uses the Suffix HiViz suffix ice magic for panfish, or anything for that matter.  I am looking at it, and seeing no practical use for it.

Does anybody actually use it?  I assume you wouldn't put a LowViz line on 3lb flouro.

Thanks

I have it on all five of my jigging rods and love it low memory and I honestly haven't noticed a difference in the fish reacting to it compared to what I used to use (3lb floro) plus u can see it much better I'm assuming the fish can as well but like I said I haven't noticed any difference in my catch rate with it

i use it works great, zero memory (or very little) and has great sensitivity
Fishing is a sport in which thinking is involved it is the covenant between nature and man, mother and son. Through fishing only can we recreate the link that has been tarnished throughout the existence of the modern era of mankind. Fishing is the answer yet people ignore it and consider it a "stupid" thing to do. What do these people do instead? They stare in front of color changing boxes. Is that life? My life is fishin

Memory is why your line twists up. It "remembers" being wound up on the reel.

I bought some 2lb to try but saw "made in china" on the pack so won't buy any more. If you want a high vis line look at the Trilene Micro Ice "Solar". Used it last season and I like it.

Used to use yellow Stren.  Tried the orange Suffix, and love it.  No to low memory, works great.

How many of you have tried the micro ice solar? I have used regular trilene before, and Cajun Ice. I like the visibility of the Cajun ice but it seemed to get brittle before too long. The micro ice solar caught my eye any input?

I've heard several good things about ice magic in orange. Haven't tried it but I think it will be going on a pole here pretty quick.

Switched to the orange line last year. . . All rods are rigged with it. What I like about it is when I hit bottom, I can see it better at the top the hole and can bring it up accordingly. I recommend.
