I was planning on fishing Sunday but I guess I should join all you folks on Saturday... I have fished Prairie many times in open water but this will be the first on hard water. Pumped to get back out!

The Chetek Cafe is the building just north of the Gordys Market. Youll see it when you come through town on your left. The Rod and Gun has a giant bass on its front wall so you can't miss it.

Has anyone checked the ice where we are going in the last few days? And is there only one boat landing at the veterans park? And how far do we need to walk out to the left right or straight? I can walk ok but I do have a bad ankle.

Had a good time fishing with everyone today nice to meet a few people from here. The ice held up even though we started loosing a bit towards the end. Ended up getting some perch and gills. We should defintley do another get together maybee late February or early march?

Yeah it definitely worked out was kinda nervous on the way there about the ice and yeah I was thinking then too. Like the last weekend of February 22nd or 23rd or March 9th or 10th.
