Found Ice

I hate to admit this but I have not been out fishing recently. I did however take the boat over to the launch on Syracuse tonight though for a little excursion and was pumped to see a sheet of ice across most of the channel. With the sun and warmer temps during the day I didn't expect to see that. Problem is now I'm really itchin to hit the hardwater

Know it wont last long, but I also found ice this morning while out deer hunting.  It was a welcome sight.  Kinda like the lakes are telling us they are ready... just need the weather to cooperate

     I seen a boat yesterday morning busting ice open to get to they're marble eyes,I guess it was worth it,they got 4 keepers

I haven't been out for eyes since probably early august at Prairie Creek.  Maybe I put the boat away too soon.  Hopefully I'll be able to get out there and ice them for the first time soon.

i had too seen ice while out deer hunting. had to actually walk/ break it to get to my stand. there was probably 1/2.  It got me thinking i better make sure my gear is ready to go!
