« on: Sep 18, 2012, 08:20 AM »
Just got a Ice Armor grey suit. Got a wicked crazy deal and i just had to have it!  ;D
Was wondering if anyone else is using the grey suit? Excellent reviews on it everywhere i looked.

Looking forward to the coming season!

Ive read good reviews on that suit. It was my second option but I recently got the Frabill Snosuit.

Welcome and i was one of the first to buy the blue suit when they first came out years ago and i still wear it all the time and i love it . Its a great investment to the ice fisherman.

Welcome to the Iceshanty.  I'm almost positive but aren't all the blue suits insulated?  The reason I'm asking is because in a catalog I got the other day from Cabela's said it's not.  Another question I have is do the blue and gray suits float?

They don't float. Blue suit is pretty warm and the gray suit is an oven.

This.... Blue suit is great if you are gonna layer properly. It is never too cold for a blue suit! I use the HD4 Camo version of the blue suit and love it. If you don't like to layer or you are a freeze baby, the grey suit will do it. Two of my most common fishing partners have the grey suit and they both love them. If you get cold in the grey suit, you should really check you pulse because you are possibly dead... ;D

I don't get cold so that's not a problem.  On that note I would rather spend a few dollars more for a suit that floats.
