Hell no I can't wait. I've got a bunch of new jigs I'm dying to try and I only got to use my lx-7 like 5 times last year. I'm also I'm the process of re-doing the setup of my flip over two man clam. Its one of the old style dave genz fish trap II's, I cut the steel tubing for the seating and am making them much narrower so ill have 4ft of space in between me and my buddies for a console. I'm going crazy waiting for ice. Did you get anything new for this year?

           We're all chomping @ the bit, I've got a new auger & I'm doing some mods to tip-ups for night fishing, then I'm going to do a mod to my Mr. Heater to heat food.

Yes can't wait to use fish trap pro tc and new nils 8" auger. I got these item late last year and only use them once. Was really in press with how fast and easy the auger cut.

I can't wait to hit the ice with my new LX-5, Clam Spooler reel and some tungsten when I can get them. And the sled with the new mods

I got no new toys.    soon though i want a arctic armour bibs and a battery auger and a white out 28 med combo.  And hopefully can use my new solid shanty i built last year but didnt get out in.

X2 on that Clam Spooler Bart, also my new Black Betty reel (and I agree with you on your response to my post on another thread - overall the Spoler seems to suit me better - but I bought both and can have some fun comparing).  I think both will be nice, but overall at this stage the nod goes to the Spooler.

I also got a Jason Mitchell (Clam) 18" Microbite rod to use for sight fishing (my 1st such rod) and I'm psyched.  May snip the spring bobber off after a bit of trial and error as it seems a little distracting and I don't see needing it if sight fishing (just thought it would add versatility).

More stuff going to be added (hopefully) - so yeah I'm excited for the new toys.

Just purchased my new Jacket and bid by Striker. It wasn't a tuff sell to the wife after I showed her the video on you tube, I sold it more as a saftey thing more than a gotta have.
