Durability of ice suits?
« on: Oct 03, 2012, 10:01 AM »
I'm needing to get some new outer wear, due to taking off 75 lbs the last couple years. Also, I'm on blood thinner, so I tend to get a little colder than I used to. I'm thinking of getting a ice suit type of bib and jacket, vs the Carhart type I've always worn in the past. I do some deer hunting and woods wandering also, are these suits durable enough for something like that, or am I asking too much?
I'd rather be :icefish:

This is worth looking at but I would call Shawn or email him for further info:

They have the bib pants as well.

the frabil fxe sno suits are amazing in warmth and durability, not sure i would hunt in them just for the fact that the material would be kind of noisy while walking through the woods and the sticks rubbing against the suit, but if you were just sitting in a blind they would work great
