Snowmobile Insurance
« on: Sep 15, 2012, 01:17 PM »
I saw another thread on ATV insurance, I have a snowmobile...

Any information on Insurance coverage? Cost? Carrier? Need? Pros and cons? would be greatly appreciated.

I went with Allstate last year.
Premium for 2010 Artic Cat F570 was $216.27.
Liability, $25,000 each person.
$50,000 each accident.
Property Damage, $10,000 each accident.
Collision, actual cash value.
Comprehensive, actual cash value.
Optional or added Equipment, $1000

Thats not a bad price for full coverage but I think you can do a little bit better with liberty mutual but I beleive they make you have your auto insurance with them also.

It's not that fishing is so important, it's just that so many things in life are so much less important

do they charge more if you use your machine on the ice or do you just not mention it.

Geico was pretty cheap for my basic coverage on a 2011 Polaris 550IQ LXT. I don't remember the price off hand but think it wasn't much more than $100 for the winter.
