Hey everybody just wondering if anybody could lead me in the right direction for a ice fishing guide service on lake of the woods for pike. I am talking about upper 40's type fish. I am from Michigan and wanna take my dad out for a present. Any suggestions would be great. Also what time of the ice season is the most probable to catch the big boys. Thanks

Welcome to the shanty Michigan1, glad to have ya aboard ! If you google Lake of the woods ice fishing guides, most all of them have customer testimonials that you can read thru to get a feeling for how that gude service is run. Hope it helps and good luck.

Welcome, Michigan 1!!! You're at the right place...give it some time (things are a little slower on the Minnysoda site during summer) and you'll get the proper information from some of the guys that live in the LOW area. One place I've been you can call or check out online is Log Cabin Bait and Tackle in Baudette, they can put you on some of the best guides in the region...here's their phone number: 1-218-634-1339. They also have a website:
www.logcabinbait.com
These guys are recommended in some of thr Ice Fishing mags.
Good luck!!!
