I was hoping to get my 5 year-old out this year, but the weather just didn't cooperate for us.  I think we had one weekend of safe local ice.

those are THE best pics i have ever seen on this site! i have two boys 13 & 16 and both have hunted and fished with me since each were  4 and  i wouldn't have it any other way. From deer to ducks and perch to pike they are the best memories a father could have, keep up the great work

Absolutely awesome, probably the best ice fishing pics I've seen all year!  Having kids and introducing them to the outdoors is truly the coolest part of adulthood  ;D

My youngest was about three the first time he was on the ice, forunately it was the best year of crappie fishing we've had in recent memory and he had ample opportunity to start things off with successful ice fishing ventures.  It was so good in fact that my wife got hooked on it as well and it has become our family entertainment during the winter months.

You're putting down a great foundation- my boys are 8 and 10 now and live, eat & breath hunting and fishing.  Makes Dad (and Grandpa) proud!

So cool. My guy turns 1 in less than 2 weeks and cant wait to start sharing these types of times with him. Honestly didn't know Carhart made jackets and bibs that small. Have to try to find some of those second hand ;)
