MT Ice Conditions
« on: Mar 11, 2012, 12:25 AM »
Its been outrageously warm lately. How has the ice been. I am in Bozeman where its been 50+ and the nights haven't been getting below 32 degrees much. Any reports good or baf? Where is still safe and where is good to stay away from?

If I\'m not fishing, I\'m probably thinking about fishing...And if I\'m thinking about fishing, I\'m probably not getting much else done so, I might as well go fishing...Yeah, I just said that!

That would be here...http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?board=172.0

PA...  I agree.  That is the place the reports "should" go.  But I find more updated info at times on the general threads... lol.  It is funny but I posted for info on the reports section and 3 days later noone had even responded; yet there were two updated threads about the same lake and its condition under the general threads.   ::)

There are quite a few lakes with plenty of ice.  Just got off of one with 20 inches.  Check out the reports though as I haven't been looking much anymore.  Best of luck and be safe!
