Marcum vs 380 camera help
« on: Feb 28, 2012, 07:01 PM »
Only used the camera a couple times . Last time I used it it I could not get a picture turned it on and off a couple times and it worked. Couple hrs into fishing the screen went black thought battery was dead charged battery and still nothing just get a blue screen. Switched camera ports from 1 to 2 on front and back still nothing but blue screen anyone had this happen ? If I send it away for warranty by the time I get it back ice fishing will be over.

When battery on my Marcum gets low the picture squeezes in like tunnel vision.
Sounds like you have a bigger problem. Do you know anyone who can try their canera and cable to rule out an issue or two?
Marcum has excellent customer service but go back to your retailer first and see if they can help.

Your camera took in water, had the same thing happen to mine. I left it outside in the garage during -40 temps, accidently bumped it and a hairline crack appeared on the top part of the cam.  When i put it in the water, it worked for about 30 seconds and within a minute turned blue. Took it into the fishin hole and got it replaced free of charge.
