Fuel Filter?

Ive had to clean my old Icemaster carb twice this year. The steel barrel with cigerette butt looking filter at end of fuel line isnt doing the job. Since I have no room to put in line in between tank and carb, has anyone just put little plastic in line filter at end of line in the tank? Im tired of auger that wont start or runs bad cause carbs clogged up.

You could get a little extra line and make room for one between the carb and tank.  Also, you could replace the crappy little one in the tank, but not sure of a source.  Try a small engine shop.

This is what I have on my Jiffy. It is very compact and can be taken apart to clean the screen.

Thats a really good idea i like the looks of that. Never thought of using a rc style filter
