frabill recon seat
« on: Jan 28, 2010, 04:52 PM »
hey guys i know this might not be the correct place to post this but i am not at all computer savvy. i have a frabill recon flip over type tent and am looking to get a seat for it. the 5 gallon bucket is staartin to hurt. i'm looking for the padded one that you would see on a bass boat. i think it hooks over the front of the tent? looked at frabill website and no luck any advise appreciated!!  good fishing!!                                                                                                   BOMBER

That is something your going to have to build yourself. They do not sell them. Either upgrade to the recon dlx with a built in seat, or make one out of an old boat seat.

I have the same problem for my Ice Cruiser 2000. I sent Frabil an email. They emailed back that I could only get a MSS seat from them for $70. I'll be going without one. Been getting by with a bag chair.

I'm fairly sure I saw the same brand/type of seat as what is in my Frabill predator at Sportsman's in Ankeny. Same seat but with a camo pattern.  Don't remember the price.

Dove hunting chair about $15 on sale. I toss all the seating crap in flip overs and use these. On 1.5 inch pink foam on bottom of sled.
Line it up great first time and easy to reset . Foam keeps spikes off plastic and I get over 2 years out of chunk.

This is what I came up with. Works great. Seat pops off for loading-unloading eazy, just lift it off
