What is a good handheld gps, besides your phone, for ice fishing?

I have been very happy with the different Garmin's that I have used over the years. I do a lot of seminars and instruction on how to use GPSs and any of the quality unit out there will do the job. For me I one of the things that I work with is how easy it is to get a GPS to "Talk" with different software's on the computer and Garmin works with many. I am not talking about uploading charts/maps, just way points...
I don't spend much time out on the water looking at charts/maps of lake (on a little screen), I like to do that when I am stuck at home, on the big screen of my computer. So I take the time when I can't be out on the water to find the spots I want to fish, load them into my Garmin and then fish them. Hope that helps.

I am also in the market for a GPS as the one on my phone just doesn't cut it. I have been looking at some of the Garmins mainly the dakotas or etrex series as they are in my price range.

Any feedback on these units?

Is it worth spending the 100$ for the sask map packs as well or are they missing most lakes in their list?

I have a 76cs and a new garmin montana 650t they are both great units, I got the montana on sale a few weeks ago for 469 with topo canada and just ordered my cousin a 76cx for 189 the other day, this would be the best bang for you buck.  Both unit were bought at gps central in Calgary

I have had an e-trex vista HCx for about 5 years now and I love it!  I downloaded all the topo maps for Saskatchewan onto a 2G Micro-SD and haven't looked back!
The unit is accurate, lightweight and very easy to use.  I manage all my waypoints with the Garmin mapping software and can make custom maps for use with my outdoor ed class or e-mail them to friends.  They are also quite affordable and great bang for the buck!

I use a Garmin Etrex Venture HC. In expensive little unit that works well. They may not make it anymore, as mine is about 3 years old.
