ffirst two pike i've ever landed, one 11 lbs and the other 15lbs!!

congrats man! i've never caught a pike before. unless your gonna count the one i reeled up to the hole today and lost it, my hand around his mouth. :( 2 lb. test :) i was proud.

Beautiful fish man! I lived in western mass a couple of yrs ago but never caught anything like that! No ice this year in Ohio, very depressing. Thanks for the pics, keeps me hoping I'll get out yet

i'm depressed that the season is all but over now..... :'(....but if that was my last time out this year, it was awesome.......PIKE FEVER.....can't believe i was never all that interested in them, always fished for trout.

I caught a 10 pounder last season (on my birthday!) and was going crazy- my first and only pike thru the ice. They sure do put up a fight- especially when you're fishing for crappies!
How much ice do you guys have left out there? Horrible year, bought a brand new gas auger this year and never even fired it up. Again, nice fish. Go after them at iceout, if you time it right it's an absolute blast.

not much ice left, almost reached 50 today. supposed to have a couple 20 degree nights the rest of the week,maybe the edges will tighten up and give me one more trip out saturday. bought a used jiffy model 30 this year also, but i've used it. of course we only had enough ice this year that i could have gotten by with a spud!
