alrite i kno theres perch in this lake but i cant seem to find em for the life of me heres a hillbilly map of the lake............
inside the red lines is 16-19 fow..........the blue lines is anywhere from 10-15 fow with weeds.... and the shorelines slope down to the blue lines and are full of weeds.....where do u perch pros think would be the best spot to look for them this time of year....lake has been iced over for about 2 weeks now......

Hard to tell....if the lake has that many weeds, or is weed choked out to 8-10 ft, they may be buried in them eating young of the year crappies and gills.  If they are in the weeds they are going to be hard to find and fish for.  I would also check the deep flat in that 16-19 FOW.  Don't fish the slope but the deep flat.  As always with perch...move until you find them and then keep moving to stay on them.

I cannot tell anything from that map....sorry! Typically though this time of year, look to fish the flat located by the deepest portion of the lake. The first transition that flattens out, not the deepest area. Look for bottom transition. Don't overlook bars, especially ones that drop into the abyss. A lake map would definitely help me decide where I would go but I understand not wanting to put it out there for everyone to see. If you want to shoot it in a PM, I would be glad to tell you where I would go.

Ryan I've always caught my best ones off the northwest point of the channel.  Never catch lots of them. But they are some good ones.  Never get any big ones jigging for some reason.  I always get them dead sticking a Minnow right off the bottom.  I've never really caught them up in the weeds but it is hard to keep the dink gills off long enough for the perch.  Hope this helps.  Let me know how you do.  Goodluck, George
