Well......
Well, as everyone, I am going nuts, dying to fish...
I take the afternoon all pumped up to fish.
I start setup, and 2 of the hubs break out!! Seriously? Can this really be happening?
All this buildup , now this!
I call Scheels and tell the guy "I don't know whether to laugh,cry or scream.."
He said come in and swap for a new one. No receipt required.
I can't complain about their service. He said that the flatfish has really held up well and is much better than the clam.
It stinks that I was an exception. But..all is good. They took care of it!
Got back. Set up in the dark. Fished 4 hours, warm as toast. Flatfish was an easy setup, even in the dark. TONS of room!
Action was poor...we got two tiny gillies....
but hey, WE WERE ICEFISHING!!!!!!
5+ inches of good ice!
Headed out at first light.
Gonna be a great day!
