The Ice is still firm at about 31 inches in the Interior. So Bigcox came up from Anchorage to fish the Hard Luck for 2 days. It only took him about 3 hours from the airport to the lake to catch a fat 30 inch laker. Mission Accomplished!
Only one fish on Friday, but thats all he needed to make a memory to last till next winter.
Saturday had 4 of us gathered at Hard Luck for moose burgers, snowmachine tricks, and exploding tackle boxes....and a little bit of fishing. Fun times at Harding for sure. I managed a decent arctic char to get off my doughnut.
I am getting back out this weekend!!
