Guesss I'll post a report and stop lurking! Have gone out 10 times this ice season. 4 times to 11-mile. 2 times (Sucker Cove, Stoll Mt.) we did allright and the other 2 times (Cross Creek, Sucker Cove) was skunk city. Hit Antero 3 times. 2 times was ok, kept a couple and the other time was awful, -38 degrees and another skunk. Skaguay has been awesome to use this year. 3 trips to Skaguay and each time we caught 25-30 fish. A couple nice trout too for Skaguay and my first Skaguay pike. He was only 12 inches though. Gonna have to start hitting twin Lakes till 11-mile picks up.

EDB - do you have good success at Twin? For bows or macks? Just curious. I've fished Clear Creek but have never iced Twin.

coboy, we've done real good at the mile the past 3 years but this year ain't looking so hot. colorado_ at Twin Lakes we do good for rainbows/cutbows in 10-20 feet of water, even catch lakers that shallow. Sometimes we'll try the deeper water for lakers but only so-so. 6-7 years ago we always used to go to Twin Lakes and do awesome.

EDB Lives! I was wondering if I'd see you back on again. My only trip to the mile was a skunk and Clear Creek was only scarcely better. I did my first trip at Skaguay and did ok but nothing to write home about but it was a good break-in trip. I'm hoping to finally get out to Blue Mesa this winter but the weather is not helping much.

I'm still here! Usually post on CF. From my understanding Blue Mesa Res. is only 1/3 froze. Hope it turns cold down there soon. The past 2 years we've gone down there in mid-February and have done awesome.
