Fresno

Anyone been out to Fresno?  My kids ar bugging me to get them out on the ice but I have been waiting for good ice.  Any info is greatly appreciated.

I made the drive to Beaver creek yesterday from Great Falls. Got there about 11 and was looking forward to getting out on the ice for the first time this year. I drove by the dam and it was all open water! At least the front half of the lake. Before I got there I was talking to a guy in Havre and they said Fresno was producing Northerns inside the fingers. I met up with a couple guys and went out and sure enough 8in of ice inside the bay. Caught 2 small northerns and missed one. Lucky there were some locals that fished there quite a bit because I had live minnows for Beaver creek and they told me no live minnows.
Thank you guys! Still ended pulling up two Northerns! Hope that is helpfull
Also I am sure this week will bring good ice to most of the lake! single didgits for the highs most of the week and negatives for the lows!

The back half had ice? that's where it's at on Beaver Creek

Thanks for the info.  What part of Fresno were you on?  Was there good ice by the dam?
