It was Jan 15th for me.  Kinda spooky tho.  Would really like the ice to get better b4 I'm out again............. 2 - 2.5 inches with snow cover is pretty scary.

Too little cold weather for me to try it. If it doesn't start to get cold soon the season will be lost for me. Planning for the new landscape season and some changes in responsibilities here at work will kill the ice season, I'm afraid. Oh well, looks like Cabelas has the Pflueger Supreme  on sale, may as well get ready for the trip to Erie in June.

I heard from my bait shop they were @ 5" on crystal lake yesterday. Considering the frigid temps coming in the next couple of days, I would assume all is well for this upcoming weekend.

The fish wouldn't get in trouble if it could just learn to keep its fool mouth shut.

There's a lot I could learn from the fish.
