Rainbow Trout Lakes?
« on: Jan 08, 2012, 09:20 PM »
Wondering if there are any Rainbow lakes near Moose Jaw? Doesn't matter stocked or natural.

Also, since there doesn't seem to be a fishing/hunting store anywhere in the Jaw, where's the nearest place? Out of spite I try to avoid Wal-mart and Canada Tire. Trying to find topographical maps of Saskatchewan lakes since I'm new to the province.

Cheers.

Search this site for Saskatchewan Lake maps and you should find the thread.  You could also go to the Sask Environment website and find all the Bathymetric maps.  http://gisweb1.serm.gov.sk.ca/imf/imf.jsp?site=bathy They also have other maps on the site, but since you were asking about lake maps, the link should help you out.

Awesome. Thanks so much for the info. They're too tasty and fun to get into to not mix in every now and then.

Cheers.

Try this site as it has most lakes listed with the latest fish facts and bathy maps.
