Fishing is good down south of you on Oahe @ Beaver Creek Bay.  I caught 12+ northern's w/ the biggest @ 30 inches, a 23.5" walleye, and a 28" burbot in the last 2 days.  Best bite in 4-6 FOW.  All fish caught on tipups while staying warm in the truck.  Great for taking your kids fishing.

Last year I kept hearing about big fish from Hazelton to the state line. This year I'm gonna make some of the reports instead of just hearing about them  ;)

As I stated above.  Here are some pictures.

The big walleye with mens leather work glove for size comparison.

Here is a picture inside.  I'm 6'6" and 250 so I make big fish look small.  Calculated weight was 4.5 pounds and was caught on a whole smelt.

Here is a picture of a 28" and 25" northern and a 28" ling.  Caught a 30" northern and another 28" northern too.

Released were over 10 smaller northerns too.  I lost lots of minnows out in the deeper water without tripping the flags so I think they were perch.  All the big fish had bigger perch and white bass in their bellies.
